Lifecasting
Alginate for lifecasting is a water based material that can be used to produce molds of hands, feet, heads, and other body parts. An alginate mold is generally only good for one or two castings. Silicone rubber, such as Body Double, has become the industry standard in Hollywood and the medical industry for reproducing detail from the human body. You can produce many castings and cast many different materials into a long lasting Body Double mold. From small projects such as reproducing an infant’s hands to large projects such as molding an entire human body, Reynolds has all of the materials necessary for your lifecasting project.
