Encapso® K water clear encapsulation rubber is so easy to use, you can bring any encapsulation or display idea to life quickly. Using Encapso K rubber, we will demonstrate how easy it is to create a seascape display using a few pieces of coral and seahorses found at your local pet store.

You Will Need: Encapso K Rubber, Glue Gun and Glue Sticks, Measuring Containers, Mixing Containers, Mixing Sticks, Stirring Sticks, Disposable Gloves, Large Display Bowl (Purchased at Wal-Mart), Dried Seahorses, Glass Beads (Purchased at a hobby store)

Step 1: Preparing Materials

Assemble all the necessary materials before you begin. Visualize in advance how you want to arrange and construct your seascape elements.

First, pour a cup of glass beads into the glass bowl to create a foundation. Next, use a glue gun to bond pieces of coral together. Then carefully place the bonded coral pieces into the display bowl. Apply hot melt glue to the seahorse models and carefully position at points along the coral.

Mark a deli cup to aid in the next step of measuring Encapso® K liquid componenets.

Step 2: Mixing and Dispensing Encapso K

Shake Encapso® K Part A container to pre-mix liquid. (Do not pre-mix Part B). Dispense Part A in a 1 + 1/3 container and empty into a larger mixing container.Dispense an equal amount of Part B into the larger mixing container.

Mix Part A and Part B for 5 minutes, make sure to scrape the sides and bottom of container. Then slowly pour the Encapso® K mixture around the display elements, with care being taken not to dislodge any of the bonded seahorses.

Step 3: Finished Display

Once the rubber has cured, your display can be enjoyed for a long time, or even given as a gift or sold for a profit.
