Creating Silicone Wounds
Phoenix, AZ
This class is designed to teach participants how to create lifelike wounds directly on their skin and produce wound plates to cast multiple copies. Initially, participants will learn to apply materials directly on their own skin following a live demonstration. The session will then transition to sculpting a single wound in clay. After sculpting, we will create a rigid mold using Smooth Cast 300Q, followed by the demolding process, cleaning, and casting using Ecoflex 00-35 fast. Each participant will receive pre-portioned materials to mold and cast their own wound. Finally, the class will cover the application of these castings using Skin Tite, included in the Ultimate Wound Kit, ensuring participants can replicate the techniques at home.
