Join our hands-on seminar to learn essential skills in creating realistic medical and special effects. In this workshop, you'll practice making medical training aids, moulage, educational props, and prosthetics. Get hands-on experience with skin appliances and learn to use Ultimate Blood and rubber glass for lifelike wound effects. We'll also cover lifecasting techniques, including a session on molding a finger with alginate and casting it in silicone. This seminar is ideal for anyone interested in improving their ability to create detailed, realistic simulations for medical and special effects purposes.
Event Details
Important: Must be 18 years or older to participate. In demonstrating techniques for mold making and casting, we emphasize safety and provide adequate ventilation in our classroom. However, we use materials that may affect certain individuals. If you are pregnant, suffer from breathing disorders (such as asthma) or are sensitized to urethane or epoxy resins, you should not take this class.
