Introduction to Silicone Mold Making

Attendees will learn about the best practices for making silicone pour-on molds, brush-on molds, and basic resin casting. They will also have the hands-on experience of pouring their own Mold Star™ silicone mold of a provided model and will be able to take home their mold along with a resin casting created during the class.

Important: Must be 18 years or older to participate. In demonstrating techniques for mold making and casting, we emphasize safety and provide adequate ventilation in our classroom. However, we use materials that may affect certain individuals. If you are pregnant, suffer from breathing disorders (such as asthma) or are sensitized to urethane or epoxy resins, you should not take this class.

- Participate in mixing and pouring Smooth-Cast 300 for practical experience.
