Customer Spotlight – Mitch Evans

Mitch Evans is a Baton Rouge local who is known as the ‘Son of a Slovenian.’ Evans, being fascinated by wood, uses it in his intriguing artwork.

He explains wood as ‘plain and simple’ however, the artwork he creates is anything but. These wall hangings are slices of trees encapsulated in our Smooth-Cast® ONYX® resin.

Evans explains his enjoyment of working with the “wonder and amazement in the pure and simple beauty of wood as it is revealed in all stages of its life.”
